Hi Ashley,
I am Kim C.’s aunt and live in Mpls, also. So, you might know we take special interest in you, as well.Love reading all that you post.
My daughter, Lindsay, lives in CT and was diagnosed a yr. ago with Chronic Lyme. Who knows, she and Kim could have gotten it by playing in the same deer beds years ago as little kids just playing in the northwoods. Lindsay moved to CT less than 2 yrs ago for a dream job as a terr. mgr for Pfizer equine div. and has been on disability for a yr. She goes in for surgery on Tues to implant the Hickman port for IV treatment…Tigacycline antibiotic. So hoping for good results and not too much scary stuff. I have come to CT to be with her and am not a very confident caretaker.
I was just visiting with my sister Shar and wondered where we could find lawn signs for Lyme mo. of May (and every month as far as I am concerned)?
Keep up the great work, Ashley.
Here’s to speedy healing

i was diagnose in july of 2010 by a dr who said a rash in 2004 all the signs for 8 yrs and lost 3 jobs and 13 surgeries all related to lyme teeth: gums: sinus; tear ducts; eye were in bad shape until the eye surgeon said maybe it neuritis.
a lyme eye dr said it no dry eye for 8 yrs the eye dr said.
had many dr’s in los Angeles CA about 15 and labs but not a one took a Western blot test. and would not believe in me.
they said i was a know it all.
As today these dr can’t look at me in the face.
why: who could look what they did: bad labs very bad, hosp stay and not enough lab work
could you?
to anyone that may be ill, flu, can’t walk, sick, dizzy, headaches not the normal headache for weeks, eye pain, sun light, jaw pain, sinuses,5 surgeries, there a problem let educate our doctors. I will not let one more person go out without a test.
let there be some hope, to all who live with chronic lyme or just diagnose.
thank you,
and may we all get into remission or well.
